Coloring Tips
- Scale coloring technique: First use dark gray as the base, then use black to lightly deepen the lower half of each scale, and finally use silver or white to highlight the top of the scale to enhance the three-dimensional effect.
- Flame processing technique: First use dark gray to paint the outline of the flame, then use gradient colors to transition from the inside to the outside (black → dark gray → light gray), and finally use white to draw a few lightning-shaped lines in the center of the flame to express the sense of energy.
- Wing texture processing: Paint along the direction of the wing texture, gradually changing from the edge of the wing membrane to the direction of the skeleton, using the darkest color at the edge and gradually becoming lighter near the skeleton.
- Overall shadow technique: Deepen the shadow under the dragon’s body and at the fold of the wings, and use the cross-hatching method to increase the sense of layering.
- The finishing touch: Use bright red or gold to dot the dragon’s eyes, forming a strong contrast with the dark body, making the picture more visually impactful.
