Coloring Tips
- Scale coloring technique: first use light gray as the base, then use dark gray to lightly overlay the lower half of each scale, and finally use a silver highlighter to highlight the reflection on the top of the scale to enhance the three-dimensional effect.
- Wing gradient processing: paint from the root of the wing membrane to the outer edge, gradually changing from dark gray to silver white. You can use a cotton swab to lightly blend the transition for a more natural transition.
- Mountain layer expression: use three different shades of gray to express the rock layer. The darkest part is painted on the concave part of the mountain to highlight the bright outline of the dragon.
- Dragon eye dot technique: first paint the eyeball with yellow, use red to draw the vertical pupil in the center, and finally add a small amount of white highlight to make the eyes more vivid.
- Overall light and shadow unification: Assuming that the light source comes from the upper left, all highlight parts (scales, horns, claws) are uniformly brightened in the upper left direction.
